This innovative design is the brainchild of Dutch interior designer Robert Kolenik. Aptly titled "Ocean Keuken" (Dutch for ocean kitchen), the aquarium kitchen island is both beautiful and functional.
The island is outfitted with three burners, a small sink and plenty of counter space. Its clever L-shape conceals ample storage and equipment. Perhaps the most fun part is that the countertop can be easily lifted with the touch of a button, allowing full access to the aquarium (for cleaning purposes or securing your catch of the day).
