Cookware is part of a very crowded market. Deciding which products offer real quality, and which ones can offer functionality is a hard task. This is why websites and Youtube channels are dedicated to testing and reviewing new items for the kitchen.
A brand that seems to have captured the attention of the chef world is Made In, they produce different cookware with pans, pots and knives as their main focus and offerings. They recently received the backing of chef Grant Achatz, an advisory board member and investor at the company.
Made In cookware is now also featured inside the Alinea kitchen, which is probably a bigger endorsement than the cash investment itself.
So, what's the big deal? Made In want to bring professional quality cookware to the home and pro user. Their Universal Lid design, a unique product that adjusts to fit different size pots and pans won Time Magazine's "Best Invention of the Year Award" in 2018.
The company also offers a range of kits, stock pots, saucier pans, sauce pans, frying pans and knives.
Their starter kit, costing $ 249, comes with a stainless steel frying pan, a sauce pan and stock pot. All their products are also compatible with induction heaters.
The company also claim that their stainless steel cookware is “guaranteed to last a lifetime”.
