Google Salutes Julia Child

The search engine google has payed homage to the legendary Julia Child with a Google doodle on their home page to mark the chefs 100 year anniversary.

There have been a number of books on the chef's life and there's even been a remix video in honor of the down to earth food lover who was one of the first great TV food celebrities.

Child was also recognized for her part in bringing classical French cooking techniques to America. The large amount of tributes, books and messages marking her anniversary is testament to the huge impact Julia Child had on the food landscape of the world.
