The makers of the world famous pour over coffee maker, Chemex, are releasing a new device that aims to make brewing the perfect cup of coffee super simple.
Called the Ottomatic, the device is designed to incorporate all of the precision and brewing perfection of a classic Chemex without the need for any manual operation.
The traditional Chemex is already seen as the kind of brewing but requires lots of work from the operator, the Ottomatic will take care of everything. Pre-infusion, heating the water and controlling the temp of the hot plate.
It’s expected to be ready for delivery in the New Year but it comes with a pretty hefty price tag of around $350 - way more than the original Chemex. If you're looking for a more extreme option, you could also go for this indestructable coffee machine.
