Join the live countdown of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, on Monday 18 July from 8:30pm (UK Time), hosted by the inimitable Stanley Tucci, and live-streamed here.

Celebrated chefs, restaurateurs and gourmet experts will all gather to take their seats at Old Billingsgate market for the big occasion. Why not take a virtual seat among them and watch live as the big reveal happens, livestreamed on YouTube, and be among the first to disover who will be crowned this year's 'best restaurant in the world'.

In the run-up to the final awards, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022: 51-100 list has also been released.

A trio of award winners has also been revealed: Leonor Espinosa, from Leo restaurant in Bogotá, is the winner of The World's Best Female Chef 2022 award; AM par Alexandre Mazzia in Marseille was named the American Express One To Watch 2022; and Kenyan humanitarian Wawira Njiru was recognised with this year’s Icon Award. A new award, Champions of Change, recognised this year's heroes of gastronomy: educationalist Dieuveil Malonga, Ukrainian and Russian campaigners Olia Hercules and Alissa Timoshkina, and inspiring activist Koh Seng Choon.

During the evening's ceremony, a number of other awards will be given to individuals and restaurants in recognition of outstanding service or skill.

50 Best Collaboration Dining Series
Friday 15 - Tuesday 19 July

Eight unique dining experiences, from a four-course grilled seafood affair at Brat to a six-hand extravaganza at Lyle’s, will take place at lunch and dinner from Friday 15 to Tuesday 19 July.

#50BestTalks: Bring The Magic!
Sunday 17 July at 15:30 (UK time)

Will Guidara of Eleven Madison Park fame; Birgit Reitbauer of Steirereck in Vienna, winner of the Art of Hospitality Award 2021; Emi Hasegawa of Den in Tokyo; and the legendary Josep Roca from ‘Best of the Best’ restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, will join a host of others to talk hospitality in the popular #50BestTalks warm-up event.
