It seems Rene Redzepi is over live ants crawling on the table. Back from his pop-up restaurant in London, the chef is ready to continue evolving his Nordic cuisine. His new menu item at Noma? Tiny forest frogs.
Rene hinted at his new menu addition in a tweet and posted a picture of freshly caught forest frogs inside a plastic bag. While not an exotic menu item in many parts of Europe, frogs are something unusual for most Americans.
It is unclear how Rene will prepare the small amphibians but fans are already curious as to what the cooking technique will be. What do you think he will come up with?
If you can't get enough of Rene Redzepi, check out this awesome food collage created as a homage to the number one chef in the world.

Hi Kitchengrl, thanks for catching my slip of the tongue. The correction has been made.

they're amphibians, not reptiles.
