The MAD Monday dialogue series will hold its first ever event outside of Copenhagen and it's headed to New York City.
On March 10th, a New York edition of MAD Mondays will be held at the Drawing Center from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Themed What We Talk About When We Talk About Being a Chef, the event will feature Peter Meehan as moderator and panelists Mario Batali, Gabrielle Hamilton, Bill Buford, and Wylie Dufresne.
The chefs - and one writer (Buford) - will discuss what it means to work as a chef today and how the profession evolved over the past two decades. Some of the questions addressed will be: What has changed? What mistakes have they made? What have they learned?
The free event will be catered by Feel Food while beverages will be provided by Sixpoint Brewery. Seating is limited so registration is encouraged. You'll be able to reserve your spot beginning at 10 a.m. March 3rd on www.madfood.co/mondays.
