A recipe has been released online that shows users how to make glass potato chips. They taste just like a regular potato chips but are in fact transparent thanks to the difficult process involved in making them.

It involves a potato broth, leaving it to settle over night, then adding potato starch to eventually create a clear potato gel which is is then formed into the correct shape and fried.
Not the quick snack usually associated with potato chips but well worth the effort if you want to impress guests with something little different at your next dinner party.
