We love a fruity snack at FDL HQ and these apple leathers from Tara  over at Noshing With The Nolands are very unique.

Called Apple Leathers, it involves forming an apple puree and letting it dry in the oven spread very thinly.

As you can see from the picture they make a great little snack and one that Tara says are great for children's pack lunches.

The recipe is nice and detailed and should make a great use for those extra apples.
