Ask anyone whas makes a good burger and your sure to spark a meaty debate. When it comes to the world's most expensive burger, there's only one answer: the Le Burger Extravagant sold at Serendity 3, a restaurant in New York.

Sold at $295, it's officially been recorded in the Guiness Book of World Records as being the world's most expensive burger. Ok, so what's in it? Well, this precious burger is made with Japanese Waygu beef, white truffle butter with 10 herbs, shaved black truffles, smoked Pacific sea salt, 18-month aged Cheddar cheese, and a quail egg. The gold-dusted buns are slathered with white truffle butter. 

If these ingredients don't add up to $295, that's because we haven't mentioned the diamond-encrusted solid gold toothpick inserted in the center. Now, that's golden!
