You are in Home > Blog > Curious Bites > Delicious Fake Food: Artist Makes Sushi Out Of Wool
By Rose Y.Colón on
Knitting and crocheting are making a huge comeback via food. Thanks to the food loving artists out there, we have seen spools of wool transformed into the most amazing fake food.
What's next of the world of fake food? Crocheted sushi! These adorable wool fish were the creation of designer Irene Kiss, who sells them on Ravelry.com. Just one look at them and you can't help but crave sushi.
Before crocheted sushi came on the scene, we featured the whimsical Knitted Butchery by Clemence Joly. Then California artist Sol Jeane, rocked our world with an entire knitted hamburger meal, complete with fries and a drink.
