By Rose Y.Colón on
If you are planning a trip to Poland, a stop in the central city of Lódz is in order. The country's third largest city is home to Zmianatematua, a restaurant designed to look like a wooden cave.
The restaurant's interior is a spectacular display of shapes and contours. Rows of wooden beams serve as walls, support for counter tops and even liquor shelves. The vibrant space was designed by the Polish firm xm3. The design pleasantly reminded us of D. Chirico Bakery in Australia, which also applied a similar technique to the bakery's interior.
Wouldn't it be nice to enjoy a meal in such a spectacular setting?
