The Decanter wine magazine are set to launch their first ever wine awards focusing specifically on Asia.

The magazine, also behind the Decanter World Wine Awards, hope to open up a whole new competition aimed solely at the Asian wine market.

They have launched a new Chinese Language site and all this week potential judges will attend classes in how to understand the Decanter judging process.

Winners from the first ever Asia Decanter Wine Awards are set to be announced on October 24th with judges currently making their way through around 2000 different wine entries.
